A charming vintage solid 14k gold natural diamond solitaire engagement ring featuring a classic early-mid 20th century design. Circa 1940. At the center is a bright and lively old European cut diamond set in a white-gold illusion head that enhances the stone’s size and sparkle. The diamond is 5 mm wide and weighs approximately 0.55 carat. It is approximately H-I color VS2 clarity (it has a small chip on the girdle).
The shoulders are adorned with 6 small single-cut accent diamonds (approximately 0.05 CTTW), also set in white gold, adding subtle sparkle that draws the eye toward the center stone. The shank is crafted in solid 14k yellow gold, providing a warm contrast against the white-gold setting and giving the ring that quintessential two-tone vintage look.
Elegant, delicate, and full of character, this piece is a beautiful example of classic vintage craftsmanship from the 1940’s.
