What gauge/thickness do I choose?

The mostcommon ear piercing is 1.2mm gauge (needle piercing). If you were pierced with a gun it’s likely your piercing is 0.8mm.

If you purchase a gauge that is thinner than your current piercing,expect yourpiercingtoresize/shrink over time.

We do not recommend purchasing a gauge that is thicker than your current piercing asyou may struggle to insert it and could cause pain.
