Amanecer, whichtranslates to dawn in Spanish, are our partners in Oaxaca, Mexico. They exist to provide dignified work at a fair wage to vulnerable women, walking alongside them with discipleship, job skills training, and healing from trauma. All of their beautiful items are hand stitched, one bead at a time. Their artisans are overcoming human trafficking, violence, sexual exploitation, and more. As one artisan put it, “Through Amanecer, I was taught the value I have and what I am capable of. I am very thankful to God!” Now, she has opportunities and is contributing to her family in ways she didn’t dream possible!
